Travel through the picturesque Chianti countryside, with its everchanging scenery of vineyards and olive trees. Arrive in Siena and join a guided walking tour of the old city centre, with its splendid palaces and the marvellous Cathedral. Continue to the Piazza del Campo, one of the most beautiful in the world, with its majestic Palazzo Comunale. Free time for lunch (not included). After lunch depart for San Gimignano. This tiny town has remained intact across the centuries and is famous for its medieval towers and art treasures. Located on a hilltop, it offers a magnificent view of the valley. Time at leisure in San Gimignano before returning to Florence.
